[QLP] Paint Leveling and Coating Tester,QLP Coating Leveling Scratch Tester

Designed and manufactured according to ASTM and D2801 standards, QLP type paint leveling and scratching tester. Generally used in conjunction with the sag tester, the leveling (dispersion) and sag of the test coating during construction and drying are compared to achieve the required surface effects. Because it is a special test and saves time, it can quickly test whether the product is qualified or not, so as to quickly adjust the formula. 
Second, the structure: 
Five pairs of grooves of different depths were prepared on a steel U-shaped frame stem. The steel U-frame is stable to wear and easy to clean. 
Third, the groove depth: 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.5/1.0 pairs (mm); 0.25/0.5/1.0/2.0/4.0 pairs (mm) 
Fourth, the method of use 
1. Place the test piece horizontally (glass plate, test card). Place the material to be tested at one end of the test panel and place the leveler before the paint. 
2. Press the leveler with the appropriate pressure and pull the leveler evenly backwards. The paint to be tested flows through five to ten different depths of the coating on the test plate and is placed horizontally until dry. 
V. Evaluation of results: Observe the distance between each pair of membranes, and select the data (thickness and spacing) for the level of film thickness for the minimum spacing (ie, a gap between the two stripes when there is a gap that is faintly visible). 
Sixth, the use of matters needing attention: 
1. The coating film with a very thin thickness and the coating with a very low viscosity cannot be well interpreted. 
2. After the experiment is completed, the measuring device must be cleaned, especially in the groove.
